Engaging with the Public on Young Migrants’ Livelihoods in Ghana

During our public online seminar on 15th of September 2022, we discussed key findings of our research around the following areas:

  • young migrants’ decision-making
  • young migrants’ livelihoods, and
  • young migrants’ perspectives on power and empowerment

We also focused on implications and next steps for youth policy and migration in the context of Ghana.

During the Q&A, participants shared questions, comments and reflections with us – many contributions addressed the ethics of engaging with young people in a research setting in the Global South.

As a research team, we were happy that our Ethics Consultant could join the public dissemination webinar as well as several of our YPAG members.
