Conversations with Young People in Accra

We met young people in market areas and transport hubs that many people frequent daily, including international migrants from Nigeria. We also talked to young people in areas where internal and international migrants live and work. Here are some images from the places where we engaged in conversations with young people.

Young internal and international migrants keep on referring to important spaces for their lives and livelihoods in conversations.

Transport hubs are frequented by many people daily. As a place of living and working, it is also particularly important for young migrants we have spoken to.

We will continue our conversations with young people and think about what has been raised in those conversations in order to create ideas of how to influence social policy based on young migrants’ lived experiences and their livelihoods.
